Artemis & Marios

Personal is the word that best describes this wedding we planned in Athens for Artemis and Mario, who didn’t want anything to feel “staged and controlled”—keeping with their love story, in other words. An affair inspired by the organic feeling of the Mediterranean countries in the summer, perfectly accommodated in Margi Farm, a couple of minutes out of Athens. This wedding celebration was our summer’s highlight, filled with love!

Artemis had a very beautiful wedding vision in mind, revolving all around the effortlessness of summer in the countryside, of love among the olive groves. This is why the Margi Farm could not have fit better into the overall aesthetics and style we worked towards.

A highlight on this wedding day was the stationery, hand painted by the sister’s bride with a sketch inspired by the Margi Farm. It was such an elegant wedding invitation suite, giving guests a taste of the picture-perfect affair from early on!

For her wedding in Margi Farm, Artemis chose a delicate lace dress and satin heels, going for an elegant and very fined look for her wedding day. Of course, pearls completed the look flawlessly.

Got to love wild carrots, otherwise known as Queen Anne’s lace. We truly believe they’re the best bridal blooms if the vibe is organic and the style is laidback. Artemis and Marios chose a combination of these flowers, olive branches, and wildflowers – nothing too flowery or flirty.

The ceremony was held between the olive groves in Margi Farm, among close friends and family. It was the perfect golden hour wedding celebration and the soft rays highlighted Artemis and Mario in the most sophisticated way as they became husband and wife.

The table was set in a rustic yet refined way, using fresh wildflowers and rustic pottery trays with figs as centerpieces. They were the perfect organic touch along with the gingham napkins.

We loved pairing more rustic flatware, with candles in muted burned-sugar tones to compliment the long monastery wooden tables of the Farm. The wedding favors, minimalistic pouches with a little olive branch, completed the setting perfectly. It was a Mediterranean celebration to remember.

Being married – it’s such a wild feeling but also the most natural. Being so closely tied together with the person you love infinitely is incredible. Planning the wedding in Margi Farm of Artemis and Marios was a lovely journey filled with inspiration and beauty. We hope this elegant celebration inspires couples to have a Mediterranean celebration among the olive groves!
